TRIPOIN QUALITY STANDARD
WHAT WE DO IN OUR
PRODUCTION PROCESS
Raw Material Selection
Our wood materials are sourced from regions known for high-quality timber and are fully verified by the Indonesian government through SVLK certification, ensuring the legality and traceability of the wood origin.
We carefully evaluate wood quality based on density, color, dimensions, and physical condition as the main criteria in material selection.
Saw Mill
This stage involves cutting logs into wooden boards that will later be processed into components. Cutting techniques at this stage play a crucial role in determining wood stability and the desired grain pattern according to specifications.
At this stage, wood is classified into Grade A, B, and C, producing different grain characteristics, including straight grain or patterned grain. This grading process is aligned with required quality standards and pricing levels.
Kiln Dry
Kiln drying is an essential process to achieve properly dried wood and maintain dimensional stability, preventing excessive expansion and shrinkage.
Our standard target is to maintain wood moisture content below 12% (MC < 12). Although kiln-dried wood will naturally adjust to the Equilibrium Moisture Content (EMC) of the surrounding environment—approximately 15% in Indonesia—we apply specific handling methods and techniques to ensure the achieved moisture level does not increase again.
Our commitment: maintaining moisture content below 12%.
Cutting – Component
This process involves cutting wooden boards into rough (unfinished) components. It begins with template preparation as a cutting reference.
Each board is carefully inspected and selected to ensure that the resulting components are free from unacceptable defects such as dead knots, cracks, fungal damage, decay, warping, twisting, or other structural imperfections.
Finished Component
At this stage, components are prepared for assembly. We conduct detailed inspections to ensure dimensional accuracy and shape conformity with approved technical drawings.
Initial sanding may also be performed at this stage, if required, to streamline subsequent production processes and ensure optimal assembly results.
Assembling
The assembly process requires a strong understanding of technical drawings, construction principles, and wood movement (expansion and shrinkage). Proper joinery techniques, structural strength testing, and strict precision standards are essential.
These factors form the basis of quality control at Tripoin Furniture to ensure durable and reliable furniture construction.
Sanding
Sanding is the process of leveling and smoothing furniture surfaces before finishing or final coloring. The quality of sanding significantly affects the final finishing result.
Therefore, detailed and repeated inspections are carried out using various techniques to achieve the quality standards established by Tripoin Furniture.
Finishing
Tripoin Furniture applies a wide range of finishing systems and techniques, including natural, duco, gold & patina, distressed, rustic, resin, and metal powder coating.
We use finishing materials such as Melamine, NC, and PU, all of which undergo step-by-step quality inspections—from sample development to final production—to ensure consistency and compliance with client specifications.
Upholstery
Stability and precision are key strengths in our upholstery process. High-quality upholstery significantly enhances the value of furniture products.
We maintain consistent quality control throughout the upholstery process, from material selection to final application, always adhering to established quality standards.
Fitting
Fitting is the final installation stage where all furniture parts are assembled after finishing. This stage also serves as the last quality inspection to ensure the product meets all agreed specifications.
Packing & Loading
A final inspection is conducted before packing. Tripoin Furniture applies standard packing systems using foam sheets, single-face protection, and carton boxes.
Custom packing solutions can also be provided when required to ensure product safety during transportation, while still complying with domestic and international shipping regulations.
Shipping & Forwarding
Tripoin Furniture works with trusted forwarding partners for both domestic and international shipments, ensuring compliance with all applicable shipping requirements and regulations.
